LEARN TO SKATE CLASSES

Our Classes

  • Snowplow 1-3: This class is designed for children 3-6 years of age, who are just starting out. The main purpose of this class is to teach balance on the ice, and increase comfort on the ice.
  • Advanced Snowplow/Basic 1-4: This class begins to teach a child how to correctly skate forward and backwards. They will begin understanding and using correct edges. They will also learn a beginner spin. Advanced snowplow is for ages 3-6, and Basic 1-4 is for skaters age 7 and up.
  • Freestyle 1-6*: Children that have passed all the basic classes and wish to continue their progression in skating will find this class is perfectly suited for them. This is when a child begins to understand and learn the different jumps, spins, and movements in figure skating.
